Judith (Judy) Knoll Baumgardner of Keystone Heights, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 13, 2025 at the age of 83. She is predeceased by her parents, Albert and Louise Knoll and her sister Jacqueline Ruggiero. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Henderson of Virginia.
Judy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 7, 1941 but grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She loved making all of her grandchildren baby blankets and she also enjoyed going on cruises with her family. She volunteered at the local food bank and spent many hours advocating for the replenishment of Lake Brooklyn.
Judy worked for the IRS, retired after 20 years and moved to Keystone Heights, Florida.
She is survived by her children, Chris (Allen), Kim (Chip), Jenny (Kelly), Elaine (Charles), and Craig (Carrie). She also had 11 grandchildren, Bobby, Jessica (Jason), Matt (Alison), Sarah (Kenan), Clayton (Megan), Ashley (Sam), Austin, Nicholas (Chloe), Trey, Clark, and Emily (Ethan) and 13 great grandchildren, Katelyne (Will), Andrew, Bradley, Caleb, Allen, Abigail, Claire, James, Cooper, Catherine, Poppy, Owen and London. One great-great grandchild, Foster.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date for her immediate family and friends.
