

Judy was a loving, graceful, and generous woman. She loved her family and friends, being a Navy wife, the Florida State Seminoles, and her home state of West Virginia. She enjoyed painting, gardening, interior decorating, and collecting Santa Clauses and teapots.
Judy was predeceased by her adoptive parents, John and Shirley Petterman, her sister, Charlotte Woodring, and her daughters Anne Marie Riddle and Rikkie Mae Simon. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joseph Amer Wallace IV, her sons Matthew and Ross Wallace, daughter Laurie (Benjamin) Fisher, brother Mike "Glenn" Welch, and sister Patty (Tom) Miller. She is also survived by her grandchildren Joseph "Joey" Wallace, Michael "Cory" (Jessy) Simon, Kayla Sande, Morgan (Mohammed) Montean, Logan Simon, Addison (Milly) Fisher, Ananda (Tanner) Towle, Gabriel (Holly) Fisher, Leah Fisher, Nolan Fisher, and many great grandchildren.
A visitation for Judy will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Following the visitation will be a committal service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
