

Julie Lynn Richens, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 1st at the age of 60. Julie lived a life full of love, compassion, and dedication to her family, her dogs, and friends.
Julie is survived by her devoted husband, Scott, her loving son, David, and her cherished grandson, Liam. She also leaves behind her caring mother, Donna, and her two brothers, Scott and Keith. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Jim, and her beloved son, Brian.
Over the past 27 years, Julie worked as an office manager for big and small landscaping companies. Her unwavering commitment made her an invaluable asset to every organization she worked with. She treated her colleagues like family, fostering a warm and supportive environment that made everyone feel appreciated.
Julie was an avid gardener, finding joy and peace in nurturing her plants and flowers. Her home was a testament to her love for nature and her ability to create beauty wherever she went. Julie also had a passion for cooking, and her family will fondly remember the delicious meals she prepared and the warmth of her kitchen.
Julie was known for her incredible kindness and generosity. She touched the lives of countless individuals with her caring heart. Her family and friends will remember Julie for her infectious smile, her unwavering support, and her ability to make everyone feel special.
Julie will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire those who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Friday May 30,2025 @ 11:00 am at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 1773 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Julie's life.
