

Born on September 14th, 1961, in San Jose, CA, Karl lived a life marked by service and commitment. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retiring in 2005 as a Senior Chief SKCS after a distinguished career. His dedication and leadership were evident throughout his military service.
Karl was a loving and devoted Father and Husband. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Debbie Klassen, who shared 27 cherished years of Marriage with him. He was a proud and supportive father to his two sons, Michael Klassen (34) and Jared Klassen (20), a loving father-in-law to Erica, and a devoted grandfather to Mathew, Micah, and soon-to-be-born Nehemiah. The family will deeply miss his guidance and love.
Karl will be remembered for his fun-loving attitude and his love for Christ, which he shared with everyone. He touched the lives of many with his hobbies and will to do good.
His memory will be forever cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A visitation for Karl will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
