Lawrence Hill Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loved one, Lawrence Hill Jr. (Boggie). He was born on December 1, 1969 in Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from William M. Raines High School and and later pursued a higher education at Edward Waters College. Lawrence was a social butterfly and thrived in professional careers that allowed him to be his authentic, charismatic self with companies that included Blue Cross Blue Shield, American Express, Merrill Lynch, JTA and Advanced Auto. He loved his family, friends, dogs and most importantly, he loved God.

Lawrence Hill Jr. was survived by his mother, Eleanor, his children, Angel and Lauren, his sisters, Chanel, LaShay and Sonia, his nieces and nephews, Diamond, Nina, Justin, Nyle, Terrance and Tehran, his aunts and uncles, Geneva Sapp, Patricia Thompson, Carolyn (John) Shannon, Clarence Stamper, Bobby Stamper, Clayborne Hill, William Hill (Pop) and James (Pooh) and a host of other cousins and close friends and his furbabies, Maximus and Star.He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Hill Sr.

A visitation for Lawrence will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Riverside Event Pavilion, 1373 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by a celebration of life from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
