Lorene K. Middleton Asheville NC/Jacksonville FL - Lorene K. Middleton, 95, of Jacksonville, FL, died peacefully Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Flesher's Fairview Health Care Center. A native of Ocala, FL, she was the daughter of the late Morris P. and Ola Mae Dantzler Knoblock. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Middleton, grandson, Donald Gene Campbell, sister, Irma Mae Knoblock, and nephew, Bill Moore, Jr. Mrs. Middleton was a charter member of Lake Shore United Methodist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class in Jacksonville, a Life Member and past Queen of the Khem Temple, Daughters of the Nile, and Past Worthy Matron of Riverside Chapter 218, Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Campbell and husband, Charles, and Judy Robinson and husband, Dale; grandchildren, Tim Campbell and wife, Mary,Matthew Staples and wife, Amy, and Melody Hammell and husband, Steven; step-grandchildren, Jeffrey Robinson, Jennifer Franklin, and Jill Hubbard and husband, Travis; seven great-grandchildren; nieces Carol Moore and Linda Silas; and nephews Franz Jr. and Morris Silas. The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hardage Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
