Lorraine Lee Rothweiler, 65, died Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in her bed at home with loved ones near.

Lori was born on January 1, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL. to Stanley and Jean Cornwell. Lori graduated high school from Englewood High in 1976. She married George Alan Rothweiler on August 10, 1979. The two met on Lake Brooklyn while skiing and sun bathing in the month of January. They were blessed with three children, Melissa, Alan, and Stacey.

Lori was a stay at home mother, who filled her time with fun activities for everyone to enjoy. She enjoyed adventures with her family: water skiing, boating, snow skiing, riding dune buggies and four wheelers. She attended Woodstock Baptist Church and later West Normandy Baptist, where she enjoyed serving the Lord. Other hobbies include crafting, sewing, and crocheting towels to give to others.

Lori is survived by her husband George; children, Melissa Gholson, Alan (Haley) Rothweiler, Stacey (Wesley) Miller; grandchildren, Aaron and Abigail Miller; sister, Christine Belyea; brother, Carl Cornwell; lots of extended family and friends who have been so supportive and caring. Lori is preceded in death by father Stanley Cornwell; mother Jean Price; sister, Diane Baker; sister, Vivian Linville; cousin Cheryl Hyatt.

A visitation for Lorraine will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 12:30 PM at The Well at Crystal Springs, 9120 Crystal Springs, Jacksonville, FL 32221. Followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. A committal service will occur Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
