Lula “Ann” Stancil, 76, of Jacksonville passed away on August 26, 2012 surrounded by loved ones. Ann is preceded by her loving husband Edwin Stancil. Ann was born is Snow hill, North Carolina to Doris and Ralph Suggs. She is survived by a son, Milton Anderson, daughters; Dorothy Rivers (Craig), and Peggy Collins (Jackson),step-children; Eva Kearney (Ken), William Stancil (Joann), Teresa Stancil, brothers; Milton Suggs (Beth), Buddy Suggs ( Gloria), sisters; Ruby Paramore, Lou Barfield, Betty Jean Chaco and Mary Savage, grandchildren; Annette Bowers, Albert Jack Collins, Kimberlee Kidd, Joshua Anderson, Milton III “Boe Boe” and Edwin Stancil, and numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Ann enjoyed gardening and family. She will be remembered as being a pioneering woman, a kind smile, and determining spirit. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jax., Fl 32205. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 at the chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 10:00 am in the chapel. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
