Growing up I never had a father to lead and to groom me into becoming a man. Senior year of High school was a big stepping stone for me. There I gained friends that I now call my family, and through meeting 2 of those individuals (Rose and Mack) I’ve had the pleasure of meeting their fathers. And I always told myself when I’m a Dad I want to be just like them. Meeting Mr.Manuel was one of the best things that ever happened to me. He was so funny especially when him and Mack would go back and forth on how they were going to kick each others butts. Nevertheless he taught me how to be a father how to lead and how to have a loving family that cares and truly loves you.
I would cherish that for the rest of my life.

You are a selfless man that only wants good education, good health, and happiness not only for his family but for everyone. You are such an inspiration and a good influence to our family. I know that even a million words cannot bring you back, but I just want everyone to know how beautiful your soul was. You may no longer be here with us, but I will never forget you as a champion in our hearts that lived his life to the fullest. I thought America is the longest parting that will ever happen to us, but I never thought that death is much longer, but even though you are gone physically we are still thankful to God because he sent us an angel which serves as an instrument that gathers the people to unite and help one another. You have left your footprints with glory on the sand of time and we are only left with your memories to live now. You are dearly missed, uncle. Those beautiful moments you shared with us will always remind us of the great man you were.  It is an honor for our lives to be enriched with such a beautiful soul. Your name will be remembered for a long time, and your story will be told for generations. I will remember you even when I have forgotten all the rest. You were always true to me and my favorite uncle. No words can describe the loss I feel for your death, but I know that you passed away because your body had served its purpose and your soul had achieved what he came to do. You are more than an uncle. You are one of the most important people in my life.  To a person who has the biggest and kindest heart I know, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the support you’ve given into our family. You have done so much goodness, that will forever remain in our hearts. You are the reason why someone believes in the goodness of people. You built a chapel in our Purok, a hut (payag) with a billiard table in the middle for everyone to have fun, built a sea wall for protection during high tide and typhoon,sponsored some foodpacks during pandemic not just for our family but for our community, sponsored some jersey for volleyball and basketball games, built a group (Team Majestic) for flatboat racing, gave us gifts during christmas, let us experience family outing every summer, send us to hospitals whenever we are sick and need thorough check-ups regarding on our health, send us to colleges, and many more.  

I’m the happiest that I got experience a world with you there. The safe space you invited me to will always be a warming memory I shall take with me wherever I go in hopes to one day recreate the comfort and love you provided me and  share with someone else one day

We we are so proud and blessed to call you as my brother and our uncle. You did and gave so much to others, you our truly a saint. But now it's time for you to go home and join your parents, your sister, and your brothers. Which are waiting for you with open arms. Your legacy will continue and we will all be blessed knowing we have our own guardian angel watching over us all. You will truly be missed, but NEVER FORGOTTEN!

This is the last time he spent his birthday with us here in the Philippines. His crying because of happiness. He didn't expect the surprise that the family prepared for him. 

Uncle Manny was a kind soul 
Family is everything to him 
He help us and our little community through building an ocean walls so that it is safer for us especially the children during storms and high tides. 
After the typhoons he always see to it that we are safe and always giving relief goods ( food packs ) for the family that are affected.
Every christmas he always give happiness to all the children not only in our family but also to our community through games prizes and goods.
He loves to give happiness to the people around him
He loves to watch flat boat racing 
He always worried for the future of the children in our family
He always wishes for the success of all his nieces and nephews
He always loves us with all his heart 

He will always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts 🙏 we love him so much❤️

The last time they went home he told me "PUPU I STILL HAVE THE SLIPPERS THAT YOU GAVE ME, BUT I NEED NEW PAIRS" 😭

More than just an uncle, you are an amazing friend and father figure to me,This must be a really tough time for us uncle, but I wanted to let you know that I'm so impressed by your courage and endurance.I think of you and your positive attitude. You are such an inspiration, and we are so blessed to have you in our life.You were a great uncle. Your silly jokes, and good heart make your death that much more hurtful.You will be deeply missed. Rest easy knowing that we will keep you in our prayers every day.

He loves water sports especially flatboat racing. He owns a tones flatboats for racing. He loves staying at "PAYAG" where his boats are, love seeing the water and feel the ocean breeze. This is one of the races he went to and they won 🏆 CHAMPION TEAM MAJESTIC.
