

Maria Antonia Anteola was born to Delores Mary Bravo and Marciano “Morris” Anteola on April 28, 1942 in St. Augustine, Florida. Maria started her own family early with one child, a daughter, Angela Marie Miller, she raised her with her mother’s help. Later she met the love of her life, and married William Capps on April 14, 1972.
Maria has been a licensed cosmetologist since the late 60s, and maintained a career as a hairstylist for over 50 years, last 20 or so she remained steadily employed at a retirement home facility, where she was a friend to all and helped any who was in need. She also had an affinity for anything beauty, clothes, or fashion, leading her to venture into Avon where she was a celebrated saleswoman, earning trophies year after year. Truly a woman’s woman, strong and independent since her teens, ahead of her time. She remained working until sustaining an injury while helping another, and was cared for at home by her daughter and granddaughter until hospitalization.
She is survived by her husband, William Capps, of 53 years, daughter, Angela Marie Perry, son-in-law, Blair Alan Perry, two grandchildren, Tabbetha Marie Perry and Blair Alan Perry II; and one great grandchild, Watson Bhodi Perry, brother, Morris “Tony” Anteola of Sr Augustine, FL; sister, Tina Reynolds of St Augustine, FL; as well as two half brothers and two half sisters, met later in life, loved just as dearly, Terry Anteola Brown of Colorado Springs, CO; Marc Anteola of Houston, TX; Vicky Anteola Fleming of Hugo, MN; Andrew Anteola of Colorado Springs, CO; and many, many nieces and nephews and cousins all over the country.
