

Marilyn Sue Murray Stover was born on August 28, 1950, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Mildred Dickerson Murray and Wilbert Leslie Murray. Marilyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on November 19, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Marilyn will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and deep love she had for her family.
She is survived by her children: Jodi Hurst(David) of Ocala, Michael Crews of Macclenny, and Jeanie Morgan ( John) of Jacksonville. A step-son, Scott Stover of Jacksonville, and her brother Sammie Dickerson of Arkansas. Marilyn had many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Courtney Crews, brothers Richard Dickerson and David Dickerson, and her husband, Richard Stover, whose memory she carried with her always.
Marilyn's pride and joy were here grandchildren : Amber Hurst,Whitney King, Andrew Hurst, Bailey Griffis , Mackenzie Crews, Maverick Pratt, Colby Crews , along with step-granddaughters Sara Shinn and Jennifer Stover. She was also blessed with four great grandchildren with one on the way and two step great grandsons.
A visitation will be held on December 1, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, located at 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A committal service will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery, located at 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm on December 1, 2025.
