

Mario Lorenzo Faison was the only son born to William and Hervenia Faison on September 13, 1975 in Jacksonville, Florida. He attended local elementary and middle schools in Jacksonville. Mario graduated from Robert E. Lee High School (currently Riverside High School) in 1993. During his high school years, he played football and developed a love of football which continued throughout his life as an avid fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Florida State Seminoles. After graduation from high school, he attended Florida Community College of Jacksonville (FCCJ) and started his career as a truck driver. Mario worked as a truck driver for several companies throughout the Jacksonville area with his latest employment being with J.B. Coxwell Contracting Company for the past eight years.
Mario loved the Lord, his family, and friends. He was a member of the Legacy Ministries Church. He regularly attended church and participated in church events. Mario also enjoyed fishing and seafood. He frequently shared his catch of the day with friends and family. He also occasionally enjoyed seasoned and steamed blue crabs.
Mario was preceded in death by his father, William Faison; Grandfather, Herbert Wright; Grandmother, Martha Wright; and Uncle, Melvin Wright.
Mario leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Hervenia Faison; Sister, Felicia Jenkins; Son, Mekhi Faison; Uncles, Walter Wright and Willie Cummings; Aunt, Joyce Menefee; Cousins, Tammy Wright, Walter Wright Jr., Martha Lawson; Nephews, Dominique Jenkins and Tyrell Jenkins, and many more cousins, relatives, and friends from Jacksonville, Florida to South Carolina. Mario is loved and will be truly missed.
