I was so sorry to read the email my mother sent me about Mark's passing.  I met Mark over 27 years ago and sadly lost touch with him some time after I moved to California.  Periodically, I would try to find him, but was never able to find a good way to reconnect.  My heart is warmed to see so many people say such amazing things about him and to see how many lives he touched.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.  Any time I do a random act of kindness for a stranger, I will do so in Mark's honor.

My name is Doug Timmons and i used to work with mark many years ago at barnett brass,we used to sit across from another. He always tried to help me out or anyone else. He once took me fishing which was the greatest thing in the world to me as i never seen a school of bass. even though i didnt catch anything i always remember that. I will always remeber him and one day will go fishing with him again. My condolences to the family, as my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I just heard about Mark's passing. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I lost a mother to cancer and hope one day they can find a cure to stop this terrible disease. Laura says hi to Peyton. I don't have children at St. Pauls any more since Laura was the baby. I still have visions of grandma Sandy teaching second grade. All my children have had her as a teacher and have done well in school. Paige lost her father last year and now Peyton. Mark isn't suffering now. I know he put up a valiant fight. I will keep you in my prayers.

I never met Mark, but wanted to say I did do a random act of kindness as requested in his obit.  That is a unique request, one that ill remember.  I'm sorry for your loss.

Mark was one of a kind with a loving soul. He was quick with a joke to make you smile and often provided words of advice to a friendly ear. Mark will always be in my memories and I'll never forget how he gloriously tackled a much larger Porta-potty on our boys night out during Super Bowl  weekend :-).  It still makes me smile. We love you Piot ! Rest in peace my friend.
