to Jacksonville, Florida in the late 70s. Two and half years ago she moved in with family in Lake Butler,
Florida. Martha Jane passed away in her sleep, surrounded by family and friends on June 5, 2023.
Martha Jane would like to be remembered for her love and care for others, especially children and the
elderly.
Martha Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Maye Heaton. She is survived by her
husband of 58 years, Melvin Grace, two daughters and their spouses: Cindy (Kenny) Callaway and
Ginger (David) Grace-Ekrut, three grandsons: K.C. Callaway, Michael (Angel) Callaway, Daniel (Becca
Baier) Callaway and two great-grandchildren: John Ryan and Alyssa Grace, her two sisters: Gaynelle
Wilson and Joanne (Philip) Greenway, two special “daughters” Melissa Jones (and family) and Angie
Howell, and her very dearest friend, Sherry Larramore, along with many, many friends along the way.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to accept donations to be used towards appreciation gifts for
Janie’s caregivers of the last few months.
