Mary G. Allbritton, age 95 of Jacksonville, Florida went home to be with the Lord on September 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years James Allbritton, one son Jay Durell, three brothers Jay Giles, Ray Tyler, and George Tyler, two sisters Starling and Emily Cruise. She was born September 24, 1919 in Akron, Ohio to Leslie and Norma (Bostwick) Giles. She was an amazing testimony of Gods faith and an active member of Lane Avenue Church of God in Jacksonville. Mary enjoyed baking, crocheting, and reading her bible yearly. She will be missed dearly by her loving daughters Arletta Smith (Andrew), Nydah Bryant, and Willa Gunter; sister Ann Capuana; step children Johnny Allbritton, Jimmy Allbritton(Carolyn), Jean Johnson (Everett), and Judy Peace; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren; twelve step grandchildren, seventeen step great grandchildren, and onestep great-great grandchild. Family will receive friends and family Friday, October 3, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Lane Avenue Church of God, 2956 Lane Avenue N., Jacksonville, FL 32254. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the church. Interment will follow services at Riverside Memorial Park.
