Mary Lucille Torrent, age 93, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on February 10, 2026. She was born in Forest, MS on January 28, 1933, to James Mark Welch and Leona Wydell Posey. She married William J. Torrent, Jr., on December 18, 1955.
Mary Lucille ran her own business and her faith and her was everything to her.
She is survived by Rosemary Duncan (Jimmie), William Torrent, III (Vickie), Wydell Stefanini (Andrew), Margaret Franck (Bill), James Torrent, John Torrent (Clair), 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, William J. Torrent, Jr., her parents and 7 siblings.
A visitation will be held on February 16, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, located at 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A Celebration of Life will follow on February 16, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the same venue.
The committal service is scheduled for February 16, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Funeral Home & Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
