Mary Frances Trimble

Mary Frances (Penney) Trimble, age 83, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. Penney was born September 5, 1928 in Daytona Beach, Florida to William E. and Stella Marie (Fender) Penney. Lee High School was her alma mater. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield after 20 years as a Congressional Claim Examiner. Penney was a faithful member of Murray Hill Methodist Church for over 40 years In Jacksonville. Her true passions were her family, reading, particularly the Bible. Penney encouraged a Book Club at St. Catherine Laboure Manor which proudly had four members. She loved to garden and decorate all for seasons. Penney is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Fred Trimble of 45 years. Her loving children include, son John Gore (Susan); three daughters Jeannie Gore- Lilieholm (Lennart), Jennifer Gore- Crews (Wendell), and Kim Trimble-Blanc (Steve); eleven adored grandchildren; Rebecca Prather (Eric), Kyle Olmstead (Anna), Kathy Burns (Jeff), Julie Schneider, Eric Crews (Heather), Julie Wooley (Shawn), Amy Sapp (TJ), Justin Crews, Stephanie Blanc, Daniel Blanc, and Sarah Blanc; twenty precious great- grandchildren Alex Prather, Andrew Prather, Jacob Prather, McKenzie Prather, Kaden E. Olmstead, Blair Burns, Deanna Burns, Alaina Schneider, Ryan Schneider, Landon Crews, Chandler Crews, Ansley Crews, Jake Crews, Kody Woolery, Peyton Johnson, Maddie Grace Johnson, Sydney Woolery, Avery Bryan, Lilly Sapp, Kallie Crews; her three cousins Marcia Newman, Madelyn Kimball, and Kenneth Sweat. A visitation is scheduled from 6:00- 8:00 pm., Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, May 4, 2012 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home with Pastor Elmer Crews officiating. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of St. Catherine Laboure Manor and Dr. Jose Garmondia for the wonderful care of their mother and grandmother. She loved each dearly.
