Maxine ‘Micki’ Mulder, 85, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013. She was born December 5, 1927 in Holland, Michigan and moved to Jacksonville in 1972. She was a resident of RIVERSIDE PARK APARTMENTS for several years and had served as the President of the Resident’s Council. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. Micki was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and her sweet nature and funny wit will be missed by many. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Mulder, Sr. She is survived by her brothers, Robert Vander Yacht (Mary Jane) of Vero Beach and Clifford Vander Yacht of Jacksonville; and her children, Janice Shook, Linda Pratt (Tim), Leonard Mulder, Jr. (Terry), Charles Mulder (Mae), Alice Kennedy and Nancy Fahs (Lonnie) all of the Jacksonville area; as well as 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 18th from 6:00-8:00 PM. at the HARDAGE-GIDDENS TOWN & COUNTRY FUNERAL HOME, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Funeral services will be held there Thursday, September 19th at 11:00AM, followed by interment at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
