

Myra Lee Kremer, age 74, passed away on July 15, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida. Myra was born on November 4, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York to Reuben and Clara Tyner. She was a longtime member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. She worked as an office manager for Aramark and had also worked for Voyager Life Insurance in accounting and as a teacher’s aide at Hyde Park Elementary School. She loved cooking big holidays meals for her family and friends and she was also well known for her taco dinners. Myra was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend; she will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Myra is preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Clara Tyner; her sister Charlotte Stevens; and her husband Richard Kremer, of 54 years. She is survived by her three daughters Kim Wunschel (Victor), Cindy Keeble (Bill), and DuAnn Kremer (Kristin); two grandchildren Clara and Ricky; and one sister Sylvia Pope.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11:00am at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. Father Jose Kulathinal will serve as officiant. Burial will follow at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Thursday, July 20, 2017, beginning at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
