A resident of Jacksonville since 1969, Naomi worked as an Administrative Assistant by trade and predominantly worked in the field of Engineering. She was known for her strong work ethic and efficiency on a computer keyboard. She could out type anyone with precision and accuracy. She was a member of Fort Caroline Baptist Church, where she joined a lovely group of ladies known as the SonShine Class. These ladies were a sisterhood in Christ, and provided comfort and support when she could no longer attend church in person. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren, writing poetry, scrapbooking and planting flowers.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Orville H. Bryant, Sr. and Nancy R. Bryant. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Orville H. Bryant, Jr., Ronald R. Bryant, Jack D. Bryant and sisters, Mary R. Withrow, Shirley A. Fondale and Alice F. Dunlap.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Laura L. Lokietek, grandsons, Bradley C. Lokietek and Conner A. Lokietek and her sister, Nora P. Godfrey in addition to numerous nephews and nieces.
The family would like to acknowledge the excellent medical care she received during her final days from the medical staff at Baptist Medical Center, Downtown.
