Nicholas J. Shealy , 90, a native Floridian passed away peacefully Jan. 27, 2015, holding his daughter Patricia’s (Patty) hand gently, as he always had her entire life. Nick leaves a legacy of accomplishments that is to be admired and should inspire. A WWII Pacific Theater Bronze Star recipient, Vice President Eastman Kodak, Retired Army Chief Warrant Officer 4, Retired Director of Finance at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. More importantly he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He joins his beloved wife Joanne and son Jerry in Heaven. Left to cherish his memory, is his Loving daughter Patricia Mclean (Jeffery); grandchildren Laura Callas, Katie Mclean, Steven Mclean, Stafford Shealy, & Stanton (Ivy) Shealy; four great grandchildren; and dear friend Bobby Colan. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday January 29, 2015 at Haradge-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday January 30, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow services at Riverside Memorial Park.
