Nissa Gaye Byrdsong-Greene passed away December 28, 2010. She was born January 8, 1977 in Jacksonville, Florida and currently resided in Brooksville, Florida. Nissa was a very loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Nissa was always very involved in her children’s activities and dedicated her life to her family.
Mrs. Byrdsong-Greene is survived by: her loving husband of 15 years, Brian; son Nathaniel Greene; daughters Brionna, Kierra, and Tika Greene; parents Josh and Gay Byrdsong; brothers Shane Williams and Mark Byrdsong; sisters Chaia, Autumn, and Regina Byrdsong; grandmother Pinkie Byrdsong; sister-in-law Donna (Tim) Leffler; a niece; and several nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles and her mother and father-in-laws Maria and Don Greene.. Nissa was preceded in death by; her maternal grandparents Stanley and Josephine Hull; an aunt Laurie Bash; paternal grandfather Josh Byrdsong Sr. and sister Tika Byrdsong.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
