I only had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Burns once, but she made an impact on my life by raising a godly son, Brad, who married a godly woman, Dawn, who together are raising godly children, Luke, Lindsey, and Logan. I have worked with Dawn for 13 years, but she is much more than a coworker. She is a dear friend. The Burns family has blessed me and is an inspiration. Mrs. Burns will be missed greatly, but her legacy of faith in Jesus will live on through her children and grandchildren.  I am praying for Mr. Burns for the loss of his soul mate and best friend, and for the family.  What a hallelujah reunion it will be when they are together again in heaven!

My sweet Grammy...I'm going to miss you so much and I love you so much. I have so many wonderful memories with you! As a crafty Grandma, I love all the things you have made for me. Your blankets were my favorite suprise to get from you! Those will always be cherished. A piece of you will forever be in my home along with my heart. Some of my favorite memories with you are when we would have cousin night at your house and you would always make it so fun and special. You kept our family so close and I thank you for that. Of course every holiday was the best when we spent it at your house. On Easter we would hunt for eggs and I always thought it was the best thing that instead of filling the eggs with candy, you would fill them with money. On Thanksgiving, the amount of food we had to eat was the best! We would eat it for lunch and dinner because we would have so much food. On Christmas we would always sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and you would every year make Him a red velvet cake which was my favorite! I recently got your famous recipe from you and now everytime I make it, I will always think of you. No matter who would come over on Christmas day, our family or friends, you would always make them feel welcomed and also have gifts for them too. All the holidays are going to be so different without you, but I will always have the happy memories of the holidays we did get to spend together.
And I'm so grateful you got to be at my wedding.
I also got to thinking that it's awesome how your first grand-daughter is having your first great grand kid! Watch over him/her for me :) I know you can't wait to see him/her from Heaven. I'm truly blessed to have you as my Grammy. I love you.

I have so many wonderful childhood memories of Mrs. Burns.  Beautiful lady inside and out.  She was our pop warner cheer coach who didn't hesitate to make our uniforms when the association said they didn't have the funds. She showed me how to crochet my 1st granny square and how to do needle point.  Her love for God, her family and others was always obvious.  I'm honored to have known this precious woman of God. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband, children and all family and friends she's left behind that will miss her dearly.  All my love

My thoughts and prayers are for each of you as you traverse this very difficult time.  It is a very calming assurance knowing Pam is now at peace and comfortable in the loving presence of our Sweet Jesus!  We do and will continue to miss Pam but only for a short season, for soon we will join her and all of our loved ones who have gone on before us!  What a day that will be!!!!

God put Mom Burns in my life during a time when I needed a mom.  I was a brand new baby Christian and had no idea how to live the life of a Christian woman.  She took me under her wing and taught me so much.  Literally, became a mom to me.  I'm sorry to say that life took us in different directions and I haven't seen her in years.  I have many physical reminders of her and lots of wonderful  memories that I will forever cherish.  Love and prayers for her sweet family.

I LOVED Pam Burns.  She was one of the sweetest ladies ever.  She was always so loving and caring.  She had a tender heart and she was so generous. She was also multi talented and would donate homemade gifts to give away at the ladies retreat year after year.  She is and will be deeply missed. Pam was a wonderful Christian Lady, that we loved and cherished, Our friendship with her and Russell was very special, even though all Alex and Russell ever said was "huh" when they were in a conversation, because they both could not hear. So funny. Pam was always so genuine, nothing fakey, very sincere, loved her family, and truly enjoyed her many abilities like her quilting. Judy enjoyed playing cards with her and other ladies during a Ladies Retreat, when they played cards all night long. We shall love and miss you, but cherish many sweet memories. 2nd Timothy 4:7.
