

Dorothy was born on January 2, 1938 to Clark Cooper Pellicer and Margaret Pellicer in Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from Bishop Kenny High School in 1955.
After graduating she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Earl Richens on November 21, 1956 and went on to have 3 children, Andrea Kindley, Robert Richens and Scott Richens.
Dorothy loved to cook, take care of her children and had a life-long love of the Atlanta Braves and was a member of the Braves 400 Club going to as many baseball games as she possibly could. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, where she was involved with St. Vincent’s DePaul, Young at Heart and St. Matthew's Bereavement.
Dorothy was predeceased by her Father, Clark Cooper Pellicer; Mother, Margaret Pellicer; Sister, Margaret McCully; and Brother, John “Doc” Pellicer.
She is survived by her Husband, Robert Earl Richens; Daughter, Andrea Kindley; two Sons, Robert Richens and Scott Richens; two Sisters, Mary K. "Kitty" Reihel and Andrea P. "Taffy" Louis; 4 Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
A funeral mass will occur on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 9:45am at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1773 Blanding Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32210. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
