Patsy Howard "Mam Maw"

Funeral services for Patsy Dorene Howard, 79, of Jacksonville, FL will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Old Plank Road Baptist Church with Pastor Larry McGinley officiating. The interment will immediately follow in Riverside Memorial Park and Gardens, Jacksonville, FL. Patsy was born on August 7, 1939 in Alma, GA, the daughter of Otis and Ruth Thomas. She went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2018 in Jacksonville, FL at home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Old Plank Road Baptist Church and spent many hours in prayer time.

She is survived by 3 brothers, 1 sister, 1 step son, and 5 children; Steven Howard, Sharon (Harold) Barton, Stephanie (Ronald) Kerce, Alan (Ruth) Howard, Bradley Howard, and Teresa (Robert) Hurlbert, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 longtime friend, Louise Wilson.

Along with her mother and father, she is preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and 1 great granddaughter.

Serving as active pallbearers: David Barton, Matthew Hurlbert, Caleb Hurlbert, Joshua Howard, Jared Hurlbert, and James Barton.

The family wil recieve friends on Friday October 12, 2018 at Old Plank Road Baptist Church from 6pm-8pm.
