He graduated from Orange Park High School in 1976. After graduating he worked at Owens Minor and went on to work at Grainger where he retired after 20 years of service. He was a member of The Church at Argyle, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He was a big Gator fan and often attended games in Gainesville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Kenneth Cofer and his mother, Betty Cofer.
He is survived by sister, Pamela Cooper; brother-in-law, Clinton “Hank” Cooper; nieces, Holly Horner and Bonnie Cooper.
He will be laid to rest at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
