Paul was born on July 6, 1947 to Paul and Alice Vachon in Jacksonville, FL.
Paul served in the US Navy from 1966 to 1970. He retired from AT&T after over 40 years of service. After retiring he went to work for the City of Jacksonville for an additional 5 years.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Alice Vachon, and son, Paul Edmond Vachon, III (Tripp).
He is survived by his wife, Cherrill Vachon, his son, Jason Lewis, daughter, Jennifer Dille (Spencer), daughter, Jessica Lewis (Greg Cassell), daughter, Kathryn Devlin, son, Joshua Vachon (Breana), 12 grandchildren, sister, Connie Catha (Larry), and sister, Charlene Matera (Mike).
