Phyllis was born June 28,1943, in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Phillip and Dolores Kirchain. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a stay at home mom as well as a foster parent for many years and known as Mama and Granny to many of her daughter’s and grandchildren’s friends. Other than her children and grandchildren, her most favorite past time was being a brilliant artist and had a love for painting, crafting and woodworking.
Preceding Phyllis in death are her husband Burley Beasley, and parents, Phillip and Dolores Kirchain.
She is survived by her only daughter Tammie (Carlos) Valdes, first husband and forever friend Jerry Johnson, sister Cathron Kirchain Bernosky, grandson Chad Schroeer, granddaughters Brooke (Cody) Rhoden, Shana Thomas, great grandchildren Camden, Rhett, and Millie Cate Rhoden and Haylie White along with many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at Hardage- Giddens Riverside Funeral Home at 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Fl 32205 on Friday Jan 3, 2025. Friends and family are welcome at 1 pm, Graveside service will be begin at 2 pm.
