Richard was born in 1956 on the 28th of January at North Shore Hospital in Miami, Florida, where he would later graduate High school and immediately be called into service by the United States Navy at the age of 17. For the next 23+ years, he would honorably serve and become of a decorated veteran of tours in Vietnam, Guam, and Desert storm until retirement. He would often tell captivating and sometimes funny stories of his life and military service; one of which was how the Navy barber was transferred and went through much of boot camp with long blonde hair past his waist. Shortly after his tours in Vietnam, he would be introduced to, as he would say the love of his life, by his mom Katherine. He and Supap went on their first date to see the movie Star Wars, where they would fall in love immediately. They ended up having two children in three years and stayed lovingly married for the next 43 years. Richard enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, some of which were spending time with his family, traveling, and watching his Miami sports teams, but his main passion was and will always be, his love for Chevy Corvettes. He was forever a devoted husband and father. When he could not be with his family while serving overseas, he would always send gifts with his own personal touches to let them know he was constantly thinking about them. He would always dedicate his time to care for his family, such as, coaching their little league teams, taking the family on vacations, and support them through their academia. Richard was a kind, gentle, and giving man who passionately cherished his family with all his heart.
Although, he has left this world and there will never be enough words to describe how great of a man he was, his memory will forever live in the hearts and minds of his wife and sons, and the love he gave will eternally be with them for the rest of their lives.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Supap Trine; his two sons, David Trine and Richard Trine Jr.; brother, Ronald Trine.
