Robert Eugene Oehler

Robert, a native of Jacksonville, Florida, served in the US Navy, was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. His life’s work consisted of laying ceramic tiles, remodeling and working machinery in the publishing business. He enjoyed maintaining his yard of three acres, fixing things, woodworking, traveling and family get togethers.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Fred and Katie Bell (Calhoun) Oehler, two brothers, Fritz and Charles Oehler, one sister, Mary Jane Oehler, one nephew, Scott Oehler, and three grandchildren, Nicole Hall, Ronnie Allen Jr, and Anthony Watkins.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty Joeann Oehler, sister, Frances Oehler Jones (Bill), two sons, Robert Oehler Jr and Ronald Oehler. Two stepsons, Jesse Hall (Angela), Randall Hall, five stepdaughters, Jenny Praser (Don), Lynn Knight, Wrenn Allen, Cindy Hall and Kathy Lamm, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Please note: due to corona virus, Services will be limited to 35 people. However, a luncheon will be provided at 1:00pm in the home of Cindy Hall, 11064 Holton Lane, Jacksonville, FL. 32219 (Dinsmore area).
