Robert James “Bobby” Taylor, 86 passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023. Bobby graduated from Fletcher High School in 1956, where he was prolific in all sports he participated in. He was an Outdoorsman in all sense of the word. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and golf, along with anything else he could do outside.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Paula Taylor: his parents Eugene and Margaret Taylor and Sister Myrna Rosen. Survivors include three daughters; Darlene Bryson (Jim), Cindy Taylor and Barbara Graham-Hubbs (Bill).
One Son, Robert Taylor, Jr., One Brother Johnny Taylor (Alice), nine Grandchildren, nine Great Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on November 4, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Hardage Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. John's Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, Florida 32225.
