Robert B. Tison, age 80, passed away Thursday December 3, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida. Bob was born September 10, 1935 in Jacksonville, FL to James L. Tison Sr. and Adelene Bateman Tison. He was a member of Murray Hill Baptist Church. He loved NASCAR racing, College Football and was an avid bowler. He was a booster of the Jacksonville Stock Car Racing Hall of Fame. Bob leaves behind his beloved wife of 58 years Irene Tison; daughter Cindy Walker (Tom); brother James L. Tison Jr.; nephews James L Tison III (Cathy), Mark Gilmore (Pam); niece Sharon Bassett (Rob); grand - nephews Trey Bassett, Nicholas Tison and Matthew Tison. Family will receive friends Saturday December 5, 2015 at 5:30 pm Hardage and Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205, www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com . Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Sunday December 6, 2015 at Riverside Memorial Park 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205.
