She worked at Revlon for many years. She enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling and was affiliated with the Church of God.
Ruth is survived by son Daryl Bizier; stepson, Jimmy Hood; daughters, Judy Greene (Randy). Betty Maloy (Spike) and Linda Brown; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by Hubert James, Sr.
A visitation for Ruth will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A Celebration of Life will occur on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home, with the committal service following at Riverside Memorial Park.
