Sara L. Browning, 76, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born August 15, 1938 to Lonnie and Lorena Parrott in Florence, SC. Sara loved to garden. She also loved volunteering at her church, cooking and her greatest joy in life was her family. Sara is preceded in death by one son John Tschappat, two brothers, Winston Parrott, Vernon Parrott, and one sister Lizzie Parker. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Allen, two sons Ronnie (Charlotte) Tschappat, Alan (Sue) Tschappat, four daughters, Penny (Kenneth) Linder, Novie (Zane) DeFrance, Dell Saylor,Marsha Ann (David) Wiley, two sisters Jessie Allen, Elsie Cain, 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 2:00-3:30pm in the chapel with funeral services to follow at 3:30pm and interment to be at Riverside Memorial Park.
