Sarah Joy Sale

Sarah was born on November 5, 1942, to Edna and Rupert Gladden. She was a graduate of Paxon High School and spent her life devoted to her faith, family, home, and the people she loved.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd Bruce Sale Sr.; her sons Floyd Bruce Sale Jr., Charles Carson Sale, and Daniel Lee Sale; grandsons Charles Carson Sale II and Floyd Bruce Sale III; granddaughters Chelsea Leigh Collins (Joshua) and Kearstin Harumi Sale; brothers Wayne Gladden and Dale Gladden; and sisters Jean Glorius (Larry) and Betty Andrews (Andy).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Rupert Gladden; her brother Steve Gladden; and her sister Yvonne Pittman (Leon).

Sarah will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering dedication to her loved ones. She enjoyed gardening, watching classic movies, and making cakes for snacking, or anyone who might have needed one.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, 1372 Lane Ave S, Jacksonville, FL 32205, US, on April 27, 2026, at 10:00 am. A committal service will immediately follow the funeral service at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
