Shirley married Joseph Strange, became a homemaker and raised two children. They were married 55 years. She served as a Sunday School teacher at 103rd Street Baptist Church.
Shirley was preceded by her husband, Joseph Strange and brother-in-law Jimmie Jones. She is survived by her brother Curtis Aue, sister in law Berta Aue, sister Hazel Jones, her son Joey, Daughter Laura, 8 grandchildren; Devin, Ashley, Hayley, Sage, Corey, Mackenzie, Trinity and Zion, and one great granddaughter, Thea Grace.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from1:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 2:00pm at the funeral home with interment to following.
