He was born in Baltimore, MD. He grew up on Brooklyn Park and graduated from Brooklyn Park High School in 1966. He joined the US Navy as an electrician and served in the Vietnam War. He was an engineer for Amtrak and retired after over 25 years of service. He was a Boy Scout, Master Mason and member of the Scottish Rite.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; parents, Allan and Judith; and brother, Allan. He is survived by his son, Stephen, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Carol; sister, Susan; sister-in-law’s, Betsy, Rita & Susan; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 5th at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218. Those wishing to attend must arrive at the cemetery no later than 12:45pm.
