Steven Wayne Dayton, age 63, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. Steven was born February 9, 1950 in Massillon, Ohio to William and Betty (Cutcher) Dayton. Steven was a Christian man. He was an avid NASCAR Fan and loved to spend many hours fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Sheila Collins and Cindy McGee. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years Dawn Dayton; three sons Shawn Dayton, Shane Dayton, and Jeffrey Burrell; one daughter Sherri Burrell; one sister Mickey Rouss (Chuck);one brother James Wingate(Julie); two sister-in laws Robin Lewis and Veige Williams (Jim);three brother in laws Dean Lewis (Linda), Jim Lewis (Kim) and Neil Lewis ; three grandchildren Samantha Moses (Jesse), Ashley Kendrick, and Toni-Claire Barbella; one great grandson John Kendrick. A Celebration of life will be 4:00 pm, April 14, 2013 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
