Thomas “Gene” Frazier 73, of Hilliard went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 13, 2012 surrounded by family. Gene is preceded by his loving mother Lois Frazier. He is survived by his devoted wife of 19 ½ years Dorothy Frazier; daughter,Terry Schou (Mark), sons, Clark Lairsey (Lauren) and Joshua Lairsey, brother, Derrell Frazier (Estelle), sister, Patricia Troutman(Howard), and grandchildren, Matthew Schou, Kalen Schou, Laith Lairsey, and Kallie Lairsey and numerous nieces and nephews. Gene proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is a member of the Westside Baptist Church. Gene was a member of The Jacksonville Beach Bop Association. He enjoyed golf with friends, dancing with his bride, and historic cars. Gene retired from Merita Bakeries as a route sales supervisor. Gene will be remembered for his determining spirit, sense of humor, and love of his family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the chapel located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral service will be held at Westside Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 10:00 am located at 7775 Herlong Road, Jacksonville, FL 32210. Reverend Ray Mayfield officiating.
