Thomas C. Taylor, 93, passed away Sunday, September 28, 214 in Orange Park, FL. He was born April 30, 1921 to Albert and Martha Taylor in Oglethorpe County, GA. Thomas loved to read his bible, read the newspaper and spend time with his family. He was a Seminole at heart. Thomas is preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Chris, one son Marcus (Teri) Taylor, one daughter Linda (Larry) Cross, one sister Catherine Young, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 10:00 at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32210 in the Teachey Chapel. Funeral service will follow visitation at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
