On February 15th of 2023, in Jacksonville, Florida, Thomas “Poppy” Glenn Underwood (76) went home to be with his lord and savior. Born on the 4th of June, 1946, Thomas Underwood, along with his wife, Patricia (Pat) Underwood, was a long-time active member of Englewood Christian Church. Underwood, a Vietnam veteran, proudly and selflessly served the country he loved with the same adoration he showed to his family.
Mr. Underwood was predeceased by his parents, Robert Neal Wadley and Gertrude Chadister, his brother, Harry Ryne, and sister, Linda Wadley.
He is survived by his Wife, Patricia (Pat), daughter Lisa Hixson, son Roger (Lisa) Harmon, grandchildren: Chris (Maria) Hixson, Jacob Hixson, Brianna (Michael) Cousins and great-grandchildren: Maria Grace, Gabriel, and Annamarie Grace Hixson, and his brother, Charles Chadister.
Mr. Underwood was laid to rest on February 23rd 2023, at Hardage Giddens Chapel Hills.
