

Tony Bautista Mangulabnan Lamar, age 84, passed away on February 26, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida. Tony was born on June 13, 1932 in General Tinio, Nueva Ecija, Philippines to Felix Mangulabnan, SR. and Severa Bautista. Tony proudly served in the United States Navy and retired from serving 25 years in the United States Navy. He was a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Tony loved cooking, gardening, singing, and dancing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend; he will be missed by those who loved him dearly.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Maxima Lamar; three daughters, Sabrina Young (Brian), Diana, and Selina; two sons, Michael Lamar (Mei Lyn) and Tony Mangulabnan, JR.; grandchildren Ethan Young, Anna Young, and Ashley; brother, Pat Mangulabnan (Fe); one sister, Narcisa Olsen; niece and nephews, Michelle, Michael, and Mark; and also many other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Father Tim Lozier will serve as officiant. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at the church. A vigil service will be held at 6:00p.m. during the visitation. Burial with military honors will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11:30a.m. at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in memory of Tony to be made to Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church Building Fund.
