Together she and Roy had and raised their five children: Pearline, Kevin, Brandon, Janelle, and Tiffany. Vicklyn was the proud grandmother of her many beloved grandchildren: Marcellis, Elijah, Nathaniel, Trinity, Cayden, Marquis, Kaylani, Janiya, Jaylin, and Jeremiah.
Though she was trained and worked as a nurse's aide for over 20 years, Vicklyn was an entrepreneur and business woman at heart. She started many successful businesses including a nursing care service. She was a co-inventor of a patented workout equipment. She was the producer of a faith based film called “Looks Can Be Deceiving”. Vicklyn was also a published author. She wrote and published a self help book titled “Place Yourself”.
