Virginia R Letendre

Virginia was Born in Charlotte, NC in 1943 and moved to Wilmington, NC 1946.

She Graduated from New Hanover high school located in Wilmington NC in 1961, she moved to Jacksonville FL in 1971 where she and her husband raised 3 children. She received her CNA license and worked as a CNA at Baptist hospital for 3 years and also worked for NurseFinders. Virginia is a strong Passionate believer of our Lord Jesus Christ and a wonderful example of Gods love to our family and community. For the past 31 years she has served God by sharing his love thru teaching Sunday School to preschoolers, she has been a member at Kernan Blvd Baptist Church where she has taught and lead the 3 year olds for many years.

Virginia was predeceased by her husband Adrian Phillip Letendre in 2006, her father Ralph Rollins in 1994, brother Sonny Rollins in 1961, and brother Charles Rollins in 2004. She is survived by her Beautiful Mother, Macie Rollins, her children Dean(Beth), David(Patricia), Jennifer(Shawn); her grandchildren Paul, Heather, Miranda, Jordan, Nathan, Evan; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Gisella and Gavin. The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of Mayo Clinic and the nurses at McGraw Hospice for giving her the best care they could. God Bless you.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kernan Blvd Baptist Church preschool dept located at 4000 Kernan Blvd S, Jacksonville FL.

A visitation will be held at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N., Jacksonville, FL 32225 www.hardage-giddenschapelhills.com on Tuesday May 17th from 7:00pm to 9:000pm. Funeral Services will be held at Kernan Blvd Baptist Church on Wednesday May 18th at 11:00am, Paster William Crook and Pastor Ronnie Makenzie officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
