Wilfredo Echevarria Sr., 58, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born July 7, 1958 to Herminio and Isabel Echevarria in Dunkirk, NY. Wilfredo was a kind, giving, generous person, very family oriented. He loved riding motorcycles and was a member of the Latin American Motorcycle Association. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye. Wilfredo is survived by his wife of 40 years Carmen, two children Wilfredo (Angelica) Echevarria Jr., Jennifer (Zachariah) Curtis, five sisters Margarita (Paul) DiPalma, Nilsa (Robert) Hernandez, Bedsaida (Juan) Pagan, Mirna (Paul) Dimmer, Adelaida (Peter) Licea, one brother Nelson (Julie) Echevarria, grandchildren Celine, Gabriel, Jocelyn, Belen as well as a baby to come and numerous nieces and nephews. Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 6:30-8:30pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services to be held in the chapel on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00am with interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
