Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Ronda Parks Kley, and their blended family of four children: Tahnee Kley of Texas, Joseph (Ashley) Kley of Utah, Clayton Stahl (MaryBeth) and Trisha Greenen (Chris) of Orlando, Florida. He was a proud grandfather to seven adoring grandchildren—Kayla, Cole, and Skye of Orlando, Haylee, Cayleigh and Mia of Utah, and Lexi of Texas.
He is also survived by three sisters—Phyllis (Oliver) Breschini and Shirley Iribarne of Nevada and Pat Butterfield of Utah—along with brothers- and sisters-in-law Janet (Glen) Deichelbor, Dan (Vicki) Parks, Connie (Brent) Brodbeck, and Nancy Greenfield (Mike Farmer), numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends who cherished him dearly. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Arthur Kley and Josephine Abalos Roark Kley and three brothers-in-law whom he adored, Jerry Butterfield, Jean Iribarne, and Joe Harvin.
A veteran of the United States Navy, Bill proudly served for 12 years in the medical field aboard ship. Following his military service, he enjoyed an extensive and successful career in sales. Known for his quick wit and warm spirit, he loved music, the ocean, and fishing, and his greatest joy came from his deep love and devotion to his family.
Bill was a faithful servant of Our Lord and Savior, living a life marked by grace, kindness, and faith. As an organ donor, Bill’s generosity extended beyond his lifetime, giving the gift of sight to others and bringing hope and renewed vision to those in need.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 20, at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, Florida. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m., with refreshments immediately after.
