

William “Bill” Waller, Sr., age 78, passed away at his Bryceville residence on October 1, 2016. Bill was born in Jacksonville, Florida April 4, 1938 to James Hartford Waller and Selma Eddie Waller. He grew up in Kingsland, Georgia where he met his childhood sweetheart and wife of 60 years. Bill was a longtime member of Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local Union # 234. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Baldwin, Florida where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of the Riverside Masonic Lodge 266 and the Morocco Shriners. Mr. Waller loved drag racing, fishing, and laughing with his family. He was predeceased by his parents and beloved little dogs, Bebe and Lucy.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Estelle Kennison Waller; his children William, Jr. “Billy” Waller (Alana), Scott Waller (Janet), Robyn Neeld (Mark), Terri Mosher (David); 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters Liz Cohen (Gary) and Sandra Blair; many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 10, 2016 from 6-8pm at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 10:00am at First Baptist Church of Baldwin, 97 Center Street, Baldwin, Florida, 32234, with Pastor and friend Chris Drum officiating. Bill’s five grandsons and eldest great-grandson will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Baldwin Benevolence Fund.
Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, is serving the family.
