Witten Andrew Howard

Witten Andrew Howard went by Andy Howard, 76 years old, resident of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on March 08, 2024, at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, Florida after battling with an extended illness surrounded by his family.

Andy was born on January 19, 1948, in Galena, Ohio. After high school he was drafted and proudly served his country with several years in the Army in Vietnam during Agent Orange period. As well he was a truck driver who enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and fishing any chance, he was able to and was a true Floridian.

Andy is survived by his children, Keith (Lisa) Howard, Bryan (Samantha Rohn) Howard, Jeffery (Jessie) Howard, Lisa (Terry) Rogers, Andrea, Jamie Howard, Sarah Howard, and Ryan Howard as well as his brothers Curtis, Douglas, Timmy, Witten James, Thomas Hart, sisters, Wilma, Helen, Bertha, April, and 28 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, both parents, brother Witten Howard Jr., sisters Angel and Barbara Jean. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

We would like to especially thank the medical staff at Orange Park Medical Center for their generosity, time, and kindness they gave our father throughout his time while in their care.

A visitation for Witten will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal service will occur Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
