Clifford L Hanson

Clifford L. Hanson, age 68, of West Bloomfield; passed away on September 16, 2011. Clifford was an avid gardener, wonderful cook and loved gathering genealogy information. Mr. Hanson proudly served in the US Army. Beloved husband of 41 years to Ruth; dear father of Amanda (Harry) Chciuk; proud grandfather of Michayla and Lorelei; brother of Betty Brockman, Shelly (Chuck) Trolz, Tim (Penny) Hanson; brother-in-law of Douglas (Ethel) Stilwell; caring son of Faunchon and the late Alfred, along with many relatives, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Clifford was preceded in death by his brother Jim and sister-in-law Helen. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, 1375 Hiller Road, Waterford. The visitation hours will be Monday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home Godhardt-Tomlinson Chapel, 2904 Orchard Lake Road, Keego Harbor. Mr. Hanson will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations to Bethany Baptist Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
