She lived a full and blessed life for ninety-four years and passed away in her Southfield home surrounded by family on July 12, 2022.
Dolores graduated from St. Josaphat High School and worked as a secretary at Skinner Company.
Dolores married Chester Bator on July 4, 1950. Together they raised six beautiful children, traveled to
Europe, met the Pope, and greatly enjoyed family gatherings.
Dolores had a passion for books, and a love of classic movies and current events. Her wit and humor
engaged everyone. She will remain in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her children Paul Bator, Gregory (Cecilia) Bator, Louise (Harold) Kurtz, Andrea (Albert)
Butlin, William (Carol) Bator, and Nancy Bator; her grandchildren David (Meagan) Tessler, Benjamin
Bator, Jeffrey (Courtanie) Tessler, Daniel (Staci) Bator, Gabriela Levesque, Philip Bator, and Lindsay
Levesque; her great-grandchildren Ezra, Bronx, Lydia, Harper, and Charlie Tessler and Phoebe Bator; and
her siblings Barbara Groppuso and James Bigane.
